Don Sherman

Don N. Sherman began working at McClain Bank in 1957 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO.  McClain Bank is located in Purcell, Norman, Noble and Lexington.  Don and his wife, Mary, have two children and two grandchildren.

Don is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.  He currently serves on the Board of Advisers for the Michael F Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. 

Don is very active in the community currently serving on various boards and committees including:  Norman Regional Hospital Board, Mary Abbott Children’s House, Neighborhood Service Organization, Sooner Rotary, Norman Chamber of Commerce, OK Banker’s Association, State Chamber Board of Directors, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Don paints with acrylics and is fascinated with bright colors.  He has been taking art lessons from Carol Armstrong at the Firehouse Art Center.
