I am originally from Chicago, but I came to Norman to attend OU and ended up staying in Norman after graduating.
I am currently the Business Manager of The Sooner Theatre. I have worked in public accounting for twenty years, but this is my first experience of working for a non-profit. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with such an amazing group of creative and talented people every day. The Sooner Theatre captures the true spirit of the Norman Community-from the 80 year old building with its rich history, to the plays and concerts that enable all of our citizens to experience the theatre arts, and to the childrens educational programs at our Studio & summer camps that help to ensure that musical theatre will continue to thrive in Norman for many years to come.
I paint in my spare time at the Firehouse Art Center in an adult class instructed by Carol Armstrong. Carol has always been a supportive teacher and friend to all of us in her classes.
We can all benefit from using the right side of our brains for a while. Whether its painting, music, acting, dancing, or whatever; creativity and the arts can enable us to be more well-rounded individuals in business and in everyday life.
