Call for Entries

• The History of Norman Music - do you have a favorite local musician that you would like to paint or a flier/album cover that you would like to put your own artistic spin on?  There are plenty of musicians to choose from that got their start in Oklahoma.  Surprise us.  Deadline for submissions - 04.01.10.....so hurry up!  Opening reception will be held on Friday, April 9th and will be on display during the Norman Music Festival.

• A Celebration of Oklahoma's Lake Culture - Oklahoma's lakes are enjoyed by people of all walks of life from the yachts of Texoma to the pontoons of dirtybird and are home to majestic bald eagles and littered with people's trash.  Driftwood, rocks, artifacts and rusted Budweiser cans should be a recipe for thoughtful sculptures. Wannabe Donald Trumps and Cousin Eddies in Speedos should supply fodder for entertaining portraits. - Deadline for submissions -May 26th.  Opening reception will be held on Friday, June 11th.

• Science Fiction, Robots & Spaceships....anything that is out of this world.  Deadline for submissions - September 24th.  Opening reception will be held on Friday, October 8th.

All opening receptions will be held during the 2nd Friday Artwalks in the Downtown Norman Arts District.
