Most of my paintings are very experimental; many are accidents, really. Some are cut small after they are completed, cropped to the portion of the painting that became to me the only good part. I pursue atmospheric light, reflected color, pure lines that define the form.
The subject of the painting speaks to the viewer only. For me, the subject can be very important, or not matter at all. To find the meaning of one of my paintings is the viewers work, not mine.
This is where I am today with my personal pursuit of true art by me. This is my real job.
