Debbie Autery

Debbie Autery was born and raised in Oklahoma. Early in her career she studied art at the University of Oklahoma. Her talents were truly uncovered at age 10 when her mother bravely allowed her to do a full mural on her bedroom wall. From that point on, she has always felt that it would be a more gratifying life by expressing her creativity in the realm of art.  Whether it is acrylic or oil painting, drawing, clay sculpture, or jewelry, there has always been an art project brewing in her shop. Using a wide range of mediums helps her to broaden her understanding of the physical world and breaks up the monotony of using the same materials time and again. She realizes that this life will not be long enough to complete  everything that she intends on creating, but having fun in the process is the most important reward. The most flattering gesture to her is when a person admires her work enough to purchase it.
